Stops may include:

  • National Park sign for photos
  • Tunnel Rock (climb on a granite boulder that cars used to drive through)
  • Visitor Center and Gift Shop
  • Hospital Rock (Cave paintings, indigenous settlement sites, view of Kaweah River)
  • Deer Ridge (view of Moro Rock and the central valley)
  • Crystal Cave (seasonal)
  • Wolverton (high elevation meadows and forest)
  • Lodgepole gift store and restaurant
  • Wuksachi restaurant
  • Tunnel Tree (you can drive your car through a Giant Sequoia.)

Kings Canyon Drive

Stops may include:

  • First Giant Sequoia at park entrance
  • Grant Grove Museum/gift store/restaurant
  • panoramic overlook of the central valley
  • Hume Lake and beaches (gift store and mini mart)
  • panoramic overlook of Kings Canyon
  • Convict Falls
  • Kings Canyon National Parks sign
  • Zumwalt meadow (high Sierra meadow and view of Kings River)
  • Roaring River Falls
  • Muir Rock (historical site and view of Kings River)
  • Cedar Grove gift store/restaurant
  • Knapp’s Cabin (historic site)
  • Grizzly Falls
